REPLACEMENT OF 1999 AC UNIT IN NORTH RICHLAND HILLS

Replaced a 1999 Allegiance Condenser, furnace, & evaporator coil with a new 4 ton 14 seer Lennox Merit series gas system. Includes new condenser, coil, furnace, pad, whip, disconnect, overflow safety switch, thermostat, filter system, drain line modifications and flue pipe modifications.

It was the middle of summer with temperatures at 100 degrees for over a week I noticed my AC unit was not cooling like it should be. It was not getting below 78 degrees and my neighbor always seems to have her home at 68 degrees throughout the summer. She referred me to Texas Air Doctors and suggested I ask for Brian to come give me AC unit a check. I called the office that morning and was able to get someone out the following afternoon. There was no big time frame like other companies, it was narrowed down to a two hour window and I was able to receive a 30 minute notice before the technician arrived.

Before entering my home, Brian introduced himself and was wearing booties to make sure there would be no mud tracked into my home from the rain the previous day. He looked at my outdoor unit and then checked the unit in the hall closet. He told me I was looking at $4,000 in repairs but it would be much better if I replace my AC. He explained to me the value of replacing something from 1999 would be a better investment for me in the long term and I wouldn’t have to worry about a new unit breaking down in the middle of the summer. The installation was done in a quick and timely fashion, the installers were professional and left no mess behind. They used floor covering to protect my floors, as well.
